Andy has opted to keep registration open while we try to fill up some of the teams. Rosters for the first match will be given to Refs on Thursday, noon (updated).
Next season we will institute a late fee beyond the closing date. Registration will also open sooner (early February).
Tomorrow I’ll which teams are short players in which Divisions. A schedule for the first match this Sunday will go up tomorrow afternoon.
Dustin Billings is setting up another party bus to the Wizards vs Revolution match on Saturday, August 21st.
The details:
– Meet in Lawrence at 3:00pm.
– Bus has food, music, many kegs of libations. Beer is $5 for cups or BYOB, food is $5.
– Match time 7:30pm.
– Bus returns to Lawrence at 10:00pm.
– Cost: $23 for bus and game ticket.
– Money must be in by Monday, August 16th.

Please join us at a pre-season BBQ for all LASL players, prospective players and immediate families to be held Sunday, August 15th at Broken Arrow Park, Corner of 29th and Louisiana in Lawrence starting at 1pm. Food and refreshments will be provided and small pick up fields will be available for kicking a ball around. Please RSVP to Andy Bentley at abentley@ku.edu (with the number in your party) so that we can get an idea of numbers. Medals will be handed out to the winners and runner up teams in both the Premier (FCACDC and Classic IX) and Club (KV United and I-70 United) Leagues.
Registration for the Fall 2010 season is now open at www.lasl.org. Please register for the correct league as soon as possible as we expect a larger than usual registration turnout and spaces may be limited. Please also pass this message on to anyone else who you think may be interested or may not have received this message.
Unfortunately our new host has not been completed in time and so registration will continue the same way as usual until next season.
To register, click on the registration page for the relevant league in the sidebar (PLEASE ensure that you are registering for the correct league), click the PayPal button and enter the relevant team and team captain information (if you do not belong to an established team or are new to LASL leave these blank and we will assign you to a team requiring players). Please also provide all information in the required fields for KSA registration purposes. This information is required to ensure that all players are registered with KSA and receive the necessary insurance coverage. Please make sure that you only click the Pay button once.
Register early to ensure your place on a team as we have limited spaces available to fill the roster with the required teams. Team captains are responsible for ensuring that all members of their team are registered and for the correct league and team. Registration will close Sunday August 15th to allow for schedule, team and roster preparation before the first game on Sunday, August 22nd. Late registrations will be accepted for established teams ONLY until the second game.
We are hoping to make a transition to a new web host on August 6th. Registration will open here or new here :) on August 9th.
Registration will collect the same data; however, we will be testing player id cards this season by asking players to upload a picture after registration.
Fall BBQ is August 15th, 1.00 at Broken Arrow (31st and Louisiana)! Medals for the top two teams in Premier and Club will be handed out. The league will provide food and refreshment.
